- About Us
ADULTSkate offers adults recreational, test and competitive opportunities. Adults can participate in CANSKATE, STARSKATE and/or CANPower programs. Adult STARSKATE championships currently provide a venue for adult skaters to experience the challenge of a competition in a fun, social environment. Skate Canada is currently expanding its programming in this area.
NEW THIS SEASON, we are offering an Adult STARSKATE program along side our Adult CANSKATE. This program provides the opportunity to figure skate with other adults in a fun, social atmosphere.
Adult CANSKATE is a fun & friendly 50 min. group lesson program designed for adults of any age (16+) with limited or no skating background. Skaters progress through 6 stages at their own speed and are evaluated regularly. Skaters are instructed in a group by a Professional Club Coach and given individual feedback.$180.00 for 11 classes + $40 for fundraising tickets $320.00 for 22 classes + $40 for fundraising tickets
A VALID CSA APPROVED HOCKEY HELMET IS MANDATORY UP TO AND INCLUDING STAGE 5. No bicycle or ski helmets are allowed! Wrist guards are highly recommended!
Adult STARSKATE is a new program for adults that want to figure skate. Whether you are new to figure skating, or you have been longing to return to skate, this program is for you!
Have you completed your Stage 6 in CANSKATE? You can continue to develop figure skating skills in the company of other adults in this program. Participants will need to hire a coach for private and/or group lessons. Skaters will practice independently when not in a lesson.
This program is also perfect for the retired figure skater that would like to dust off their skates and return to the ice with other adults. Skaters may focus on any discipline: freeskate, dance, skills or interpretive and skate for pleasure, fitness or achievement. You may hire a coach if lessons are desired. Former figure skaters may also join regular STARSKATE sessions that align with their skating level.$180.00 for 11 classes + $40 for fundraising tickets $320.00 for 22 classes + $40 for fundraising tickets
